Farm of Peace
Visitors love to meet Sabur the donkey and our flock of sheep.
Located on a majestic, secluded site near Warfordsburg, Pa., the Farm of Peace serves as our community’s spiritual center. It is also a working farm where sheep and chickens are raised, and where a bountiful CSA garden feeds people seeking real food.
Our Mission: The Farm of Peace is a spiritual community that provides love, peace, healing, nourishment and spiritual guidance to all of creation. We seek to bring peace and healing to individuals-adults and children-and the world by putting into practice the Love at the core of all religions.
We do this by following Divine guidance and the Shadhiliyya Sufi teachings. We provide ministerial services, children’s programs, healing processes, education and training, community living, outreach and healthy natural foods. We also care for God’s creation through demonstrating ecologically sensitive farming, building practices and lifestyle.
A Sufi Community. The Farm of Peace is home to a growing community of Sufi beloveds and friends who care for the land, the buildings and the animals. Our Sufi community members live throughout the Washington, D.C., and Baltimore region, and come often to the Farm of Peace for programs, to volunteer, and to enjoy being in community.
A Spiritual Center. The Farm offers retreat and healing programs throughout the year and we welcome everyone to come and visit with us. Our retreat center is available to rent for workshops that are aligned with our vision and mission. Find out more here.
